Whether you are a fresh graduate, a career shifter, finding better career opportunities or unemployed, it doesn't matter because now is the right time to think about your career path. There is no right or wrong reason in finding the perfect career for you because truth is, the right career is just out there waiting for everyone to take it. By discovering a whole lot of things about yourself and with careful and effective planning, you will surely find out the best career option for you.

Finding a meaningful work in today's competitive and challenging world could be very difficult because most of us work for the money. Some of us could only think about our comfort and our lifestyle without pursuing what we really want to do and taking for granted the many opportunities given to us so that we could chase our dreams. The result is inevitable, we may live a comfortable life but we are suffering inside. If you are unhappy and unsatisfied with your job, sooner or later your stress builds up as well as the anxiety and pressure that you feel will take its toll on your physical and mental well-being. Your body will eventually show signs that you are headed towards self-destruction because your lips may not utter these words for the sake of pride in order for you to keep your job. Doing something that you love will more likely make you become successful then dragging your feet everyday just to dread the next 8 hours in the office.

No matter what status you hold in your life now, the first step in finding a meaningful career is to find out the things that make you happy. Here are the steps in finding a new career:

1. Know thyself - find out the things that inspire and motivate you. What are your skills, interests, and values? What are you most passionate about?

2. Make a list - create a list of possible career options based on what you have found out about yourself. Explore these options, make informal interviews to know more about your career choices, and if possible volunteer your service to know what it feels like to do this job.

3. Make a decision- based on your research, choose a career that best suits you. Be ready to develop new skills or enhance the old one to prepare you for your new role in this organization.

The rules in making a careersearch are simple and very easy to follow. The 3 steps we have enumerated will serve as your guidelines during the entire process, so if you feel like you missed something, just remember these 3 basic rules. Start living the life you have always dreamed of, find a meaningful career today.
